In the small medieval town of Ærøskøbing (population 1.000) in Denmark, Louise and John Moloney are committed to restoring and bringing new life into "Den Gamle Købmandsgård" – translated as The Old Merchant's Court.
This old building from the 18th Century is a former grocery store (and initially a merchant's court)...but in 2014 and onwards it will be experiencing new life, holding a cafe, a shop with local products, and some 10 small creative businesses. Plus a wedding agency. And more is on the drawing board. See another post about other wonderful wonders of Ærø HERE
Documentary film about the making of the Shining, made by Kubrick's daughter Vivian.
His photography was later turned into the most amazing films in history, including his early inspiration from photography using the ONE POINT PERSPECTIVE.
