LOCAL GREEN LIVING IN A GLOBALIZED WORLD
In the small medieval town of Ærøskøbing (population 1.000) in Denmark, Louise and John Moloney are committed to restoring and bringing new life into "Den Gamle Købmandsgård" – translated as The Old Merchant's Court.
This old building from the 18th Century is a former grocery store (and initially a merchant's court)...but in 2014 and onwards it will be experiencing new life, holding a cafe, a shop with local products, and some 10 small creative businesses. Plus a wedding agency. And more is on the drawing board.
See another post about other wonderful wonders of Ærø HERE
